BARNES & NOBLE BOOKFAIR FUNDRAISER
March 22 - 28th, 2008
Help support the RRSC Volunteer Library! We have partnered with the Barnes & Noble near Valley River Center to put on a Bookfair. Here is how you can help: buy books, DVDs, CDs, audio books, gift products, even consumables from their Cafe and they can all count towards the Bookfair for the Library! In addition -- Barnes & Noble will continue to track purchases made with a voucher until Friday, March 28. Just present the voucher to let the cashier know you want to support the library. A portion of the proceeds goes directly to the library! This is a great way to help the library and support us!
Also, supporters can purchase books that the Library hopes to add to its collection from a special in-store display. Those books can be donated at the cash registers after they've been purchased, the added bonus being that the donation purchase will also have a percentage contributed as part of the Bookfair total as well

SUMMER READING ADVENTURES
DATES: June 25, 2008 – July 30, 2008
WHEN: Wednesday 10:00-11:30
WHERE: River Road Park Annex
COST: No Cost
Designed for children ages K-3, but older and younger kids are welcome. Held at the River Road Park Annex where kids come weekly with a care giver and listen to stories, make crafts and keep track of their reading to earn a party. Call the River Road Park District office ((541) 688-4052) and reserve a spot.

Following our great success this winter we are offering a Reading Tracker program for the summer. This program is ideal for kids of all ages who can’t participate in Summer Reading Adventures but want to keep track of their reading and come to a party with prizes at the end.
